How my journey began

I spent the majority of my career in the oil and gas industry, but eventually realized I needed a change. Driven by a desire to help others, I returned to school to study Applied Psychology and Counselling. Through my experience in mental health roles, I began to see firsthand how interconnected the various dimensions of a person’s life truly are. Mental health, nutrition, sleep, physical activity, employment, and relationships all play critical roles in an individual’s overall well-being. All of these facets would need to work in harmony to make a difference for many people.

Having faced health challenges of my own, I reached a point where I wanted to take control of my health and live to the best of my ability. This led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, where I focused on reviewing evidence-based research and current clinical studies to ensure I was working with the most reliable and up-to-date information available.

Through this personal and academic journey, I developed a deep understanding of effective health interventions across multiple domains. I compiled the strategies and insights I had gained into developing practical programs that address the full spectrum of wellbeing.

This work led to the creation of Bodhi Health Counselling. At Bodhi, we take a holistic approach to care using the Biopsychosocial model. We consider biological, psychological, and social factors together to support sustainable, meaningful improvements in health and quality of life.

Change comes from within — and I’m here to help you activate it.
